Request for proposals to revise FSC Risk Assessments

Forest Stewardship Council is inviting proposals for the review and revision of existing national and centralized risk assessments related to forest products. The objective is to align these assessments with the FSC-PRO-60-006b Risk Assessment Framework.

While existing versions of the risk assessments are useful, they need to be reviewed and revised. The project involves reviewing existing assessments, identifying gaps, conducting independent research, engaging stakeholders, and preparing revised drafts for FSC review.

We are now inviting qualified respondents to bid on one or more lots for the following countries:

  5. Bosnia and Herzegovina
  6. Colombia
  7. Croatia
  8. Denmark
  9. Eswatini (former Swaziland)
  10. Guatemala
  11. Honduras
  12. Luxembourg

  14. Mexico
  15. Papua New Guinea
  16. Peru
  17. Poland
  18. Republic of Korea
  19. Slovenia
  20. South Africa
  21. Thailand
  22. Uruguay

If you or your organization are interested in responding to this request for a country not listed we still invite you to submit an Expression of Interest to be considered in the next tranche of lots. 

If you or your organization  have the required qualification and experience for this type of work, we would like to invite you to submit a proposal in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Request for Proposal (RFP). You can also find Annexes, which include:

  • FSC Service Agreement Template - The contract that will be signed between the vendor and FSC, if the award is granted. The template is provided for your information and consideration.
  • FSC RFP Clarifications Template – Please use the template in case further clarifications to the RfP are needed from your part.
  • FSC Price Sheet Template - Please fill out the Price Sheet for each deliverable stated in the DELIVERABLES section and submit it in both, PDF (signed) and XLS format. In the same file please also indicate your availability for interview in the provided schedule.
